Overview

TERO.002 – REDD aims primarily to generate carbon credits from forest projects through Avoided Planned Deforestation (APD).

This methodology adopts an approach focused on quantifying carbon stocks in Multiple Use Areas, committing to avoiding deforestation throughout the project period.

Eligible properties include rural areas, both public and private, with natural forests in the Amazon Biome that do not harbor indigenous, quilombola, or traditional communities.
