What does Tero Carbon do?
Tero Carbon is a digital certifier of environmental assets, that is, a third party. In addition to issuing digital certificates (NFT) for generating credits and carbon stocks, we also issue digital certificates (NFT) for transfer and retirement.
What is NFT?
It is a non-fungible token (NFT). It is a special type of cryptographic token that represents something unique, in this case a digital certificate.
Who is behind Tero Carbon?
A team of specialists with more than 15 years of experience in the development of forest carbon projects in the Amazon. We also have the support of FIEAM, VB92 and the Forest Management Laboratory (LMF) of the National Institute for Research in the Amazon (INPA).
What is the difference between Tero Carbon and traditional certifiers?
Tero Carbon is a national, Amazonian certifier, which has its own methodologies, designed with the local reality of the Amazon and Brazil in mind. We were born digital and using Blockchain technology to deliver more transparency, traceability and security to our customers.
